After sneaking into the playoffs as a Wild Card team last year, the Los Angeles Chargers are busy trying to figure out how to get past the first round of the postseason. They’ve already signed a consistent running back in Najee Harris, hoping he can help strengthen a shaky RB group.
Now Chargers general manager Joe Hortiz is back at it, making more signings to patch up the offense in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Chargers re-sign Jalen Reagor

One player who became part of the Los Angeles Chargers’ receiving corps overhaul last season is former first-round pick Jalen Reagor. The 21st overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft is somehow still just 26 years old, offering some untapped potential to any team that can help him reach his ceiling.
Signed to the practice squad in September of 2024, the Chargers clearly liked what they saw from the speedster receiver/return specialist. Reagor was promoted to the active roster a little over a month later, where he saw action in eight games, even making two starts.
Now, the Chargers have re-signed Reagor to what’s presumably a one-year contract, though terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet.
He was only targeted 12 times last season, where he hauled in seven receptions for 100 yards. Now he’ll return to what’s expected to be a crowded receiver room once more additions are made, fighting for a chance to make the final 53-man roster.
