He originally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs in January 2023, but strong recruiting efforts by Trojans’ assistant coach Eric Henderson pulled him to USC. Given Henderson’s track record as an outstanding defensive line coach, it’s easy to see what attracted Terry to the Trojans.

However, the appeal of joining Riley’s offense pulled him to Southern Cal.

A 6-foot-4 pass rusher out of Georgia, Gibson is rated as a top-25 recruit in the nation by On3.com and 247 Sports, though ESPN and Rivals are much lower on him. Notably, per 247 Sports, Gibson was clocked at 18.6 MPH at his max speed last season.

Listed as a linebacker/safety hybrid, Tagoa’i is likely to play off-ball linebacker at the next level. He picked USC over scholarship offers from elite Power 5 programs like the Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide and Washington Huskies.

The Trojans might’ve had one of their best days in recent memory on the recruiting trail on Sunday, March 24. USC secured commitments from Gibson, Terry and four-star safety Hylton Stubbs. The 6-foot-1 defensive back out of Florida had offers from Miami (FL), Florida State and the Florida Gators. However, great work in recruiting by D’Anton Lynn and Doug Belk helped secure the commitment of one of the top safeties in the 2025 recruiting class.

On April 6, USC picked up another out-of-state commitment for the 2025 recruiting class. Harry Dalton III, a athlete out of Virginia, is rated as a four-star recruit by On3.com and ESPN, while receiving three-star grades from Rivals.com and 247 Sports. Despite offers from programs like Alabama and Tennessee, Dalton waited to commit until the Trojans offered him. Just two months after USC made him a scholarship offer, he became the latest commitment to the Trojans’ 2025 class.

Ranked as a three-star recruit and unranked by ESPN, the 6-foot-5 edge rusher boasts 40 scholarship offers, per 247 Sports, including from multiple SEC programs (Tennessee, Texas, LSU) and some of the Trojans’ Big Ten competition (Michigan, Oregon and Washington).

Rated as the 39th-best running back in the class, Wormley averaged 10.6 yards per carry in his junior season and recorded 19 touchdowns in 10 games. He also turned 9 receptions into 123 receiving yards. Wormley also had offers from Oklahoma State, Arkansas, TCU, Baylor and Arizona State, per 247 Sports.

In the span of 24 hours, the USC Trojans football commits 2025 added a pair of in-state talents. Upland High School cornerback Trestin Castro became the latest commit. Offered by the likes of the Washington Huskies, Utah Utes and Minnesota Gophers, Castro chose to stay close to home. While he’s unranked by ESPN and Rivals, On3.com and 247 Sports both see him as one of the best defensive backs in California.
