So far, the first two weekends of the USC Trojans’ official visits have been wildly successful. The first weekend gained commitments from DB Peyton Dyer and LB Talanoa Ili, while also putting the Trojans in good spots for both WRs Jalen Lott and Boobie Feaster.
As we reported yesterday, the Trojans are in a really good spot for elite EDGE Luke Wafle after last weekend’s official visit.
We are waiting to hear if he cancels his official visit scheduled with Texas this coming weekend, but other happenings indicate that it may be coming to fruition.
EDGE Trenton Henderson Cancels USC Trojans Visit
Trenton Henderson, the 6’4, 225-pound EDGE out of Pensacola, Florida, was scheduled to take an official visit to USC this weekend, but that visit has not been canceled.
I will not be taking my official visit to USC this weekend.

After an unofficial visit to LA in the spring, things were trending well for the Trojans, and one report even indicated that Henderson wanted to commit during the visit. USC had him hold off as they wanted to make sure he would not have an issue with the distance from home.
Since then, the interest between both sides has cooled, and this cancellation would indicate that both sides have moved in different directions.
Henderson took an OV to Florida last weekend, and they are the heavy favorite.

Ironically, since canceling with USC, the talented EDGE rusher has now scheduled an OV with Texas next weekend, the same weekend that Luke Wafle is scheduled to visit.
Texas currently has zero EDGE players committed in their 2026 class, so they could certainly take both, but just reading between the lines, this reads more like the Trojans feel good about where they stand with Luke Wafle, and thus, the OV with Henderson was canceled.
We will see how this plays out over the next couple of days.
Currently, 4-star EDGE KJ Ford is still scheduled to visit USC this weekend. We will see if that sticks, depending on what happens with Wafle.
