The USC Trojans just announced a commitment from local 4-star WR Trent Mosley this afternoon, and more commitments could be coming.
Both Chad Simmons and our friend Scott Schrader of On3 put in crystal ball predictions yesterday evening for the Trojans to land Oaks Christian 4-star running back Deshonne Redeaux.
USC Trojans Get Crystal Ball For RB Deshonne Redeaux
Redeaux is the 13th-ranked running back in the 2026 class, just one spot behind USC commit Shahn Alston. Standing 5’10 and weighing 195 pounds, Redeaux has a great frame for the next level. He is powerful and shifty in between the tackles, but is also a true home run threat. Along with playing football, he is a track athlete at Oaks Christian.

Greg Biggins of 247 Sports gave Redeaux a player comp of Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs, as he is great catching the ball out of the backfield as well.
Redeaux has over 20 offers, including UCLA, Oregon, Michigan, Georgia, Texas, and others. He has visited USC eight times, most recently for an unofficial visit on February 1.
USC RB coach Anthony Jones has been hard on his recruitment and would love to add another elite running back to the 2026 class to pair with Alston. It is not a done deal yet, but Redeaux is trending in the Trojans’ direction. If he does indeed commit, he would be the 10th California commit of the class.
A commitment announcement could be coming very soon.
