No. 1 CB Teases Commitment To USC Trojans

We just reported that the USC Trojans earned the commitment of 3-star offensive lineman John Fifita, but could there be even bigger things on the horizon?

One of the most prized recruits in the 2026 class is 5-star CB Brandon Arrington out of La Mesa, CA. Arrington holds offers from just about every major program in the Country, including USC.

For most of the process, Texas A&M has been the leader in his recruitment, at least according to most of the prediction machines. Alabama has come on strong lately and certainly has a chance to close the deal, but the Trojans have hung around and seem to be making a push.

Arrington just released his Top 6 yesterday, which included the following schools:

  • USC
  • Oregon
  • Alabama
  • Texas A&M
  • Georgia
  • Penn State

He has upcoming official visits scheduled at Penn State, Texas A&M, and Oregon, with a final OV at USC on the weekend of June 17th. However, with all of these visits scheduled, Arrington may have teased where his heart is leading.

Did Brandon Arrington Tease Committing to The USC Trojans?

Earlier today, Arrington posted a photo on X.com standing with current Trojan Jahkeem Stewart and USC legend Adoree Jackson with the caption “Family 🤞.” Could he be teasing a commitment to the USC Trojans?

Shortly after this post, Arrington posted another cryptic message. This one, he simply wrote, “Yea this is 🏠 🤫.” Is this alluding to staying home? Or a vibe of another school out of state feeling like home?

Now, this could mean nothing as a lot of these young men have been simply having a lot of fun with their recruitment, and they know how to get fan bases a little wriled up. But Arrington is a California kid and from the same town as Reggie Bush (attended different high schools).

The USC Trojans have ramped up their recruiting, especially in the state of California, and have made Arrington a priority recruit. GM Chad Bowden has spoken about the importance of not just recruiting California, but when they prioritize a recruit, making sure they land them.

Arrington has visits scheduled through June, so this will still be a long process, but it certainly seems like the breadcrumbs are trending in the Trojans’ favor.
