The Dodgers are planning on executing a six-man rotation, but skipper Dave Roberts recently remarked that Ohtani won’t return to the mound until sometime in May while recovering from two elbow surgeries.

LA has also long been linked to starting pitcher Roki Sasaki. He could easily take one of the lead jobs if the two parties seal the deal.

With Gavin Lux traded to the Cincinnati Reds, new Dodger acquisition, Hyeseong Kim, will take over at third.

Kim, the KBO star, is projected to assume a utility role off the bench to begin the season. However, his impressive offensive performance in the KBO, where he hit .326/.383/.458 with 26 doubles, 11 home runs, 75 RBI, and 30 stolen bases in 127 games.

With Austin Barnes, Miguel Rojas, and Chris Taylor occupying bench roles, the Dodgers face a competitive situation for the final bench spot. Andy Pages, James Outman, and top prospect Dalton Rushing will all vie for a roster spot during spring training.
