In two seasons with the Trojans, Joyner has showcased his explosive running style, averaging 7.4 yards per carry on 603 rushing yards and four touchdowns. He has also contributed in the passing game, recording 13 receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown.

Joyner’s impressive 2024 campaign saw him lead the Big Ten in rushing yards per carry (7.6) on 63 attempts, averaging 39.8 yards per game.

Joyner had standout performances against some of the Trojans’ stiffest competition. He ran for 83 yards on 10 carries against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and 82 on three carries against Penn State. Against the Nittany Lions, he scored a touchdown on a 75-yard scamper in the first quarter.

Quinten Joyner has three years of eligibility remaining.

With the departure of Joyner and top USC rusher Woody Marks, the Trojans are left with Bryan Jackson and A’Marion Peterson. Jackson, a true freshman, showed promise picking up 6.1 yards per carry on 20 carries. Peterson got four carries as a redshirt freshman.

The Trojans will likely look to the portal to replace both Marks and Joyner in the next few days.
