The USC Trojans are heavily favored to land highly-touted five-star defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart. Despite recent de-commitments within their 2025 recruiting class, the Trojans remain a top destination for top-tier recruits.
Analyst Forcast Stewart Landing With USC Trojans
Steve Wiltfong of On3 has predicted that Stewart will commit to USC. This prediction aligns with previous assessments from other analysts, such as Sam Spiegelman of Rivals, who have also favored USC as Stewart’s final destination.
“The USC visit I don’t think they could’ve done a better job,” Stewart’s trainer from Edge Assassins Clyde Alexander said.
Alexander has indicated that USC’s elite coaching staff, strong football program, and numerous opportunities for post-football success in the Los Angeles area are significant factors in Stewart’s decision.
“At USC they have an elite staff, great schemes on defense and offense and an administration all in with adding elite coaches and athletes to the football program. We’re not looking at USC’s record or the same stuff fans are, we’re looking at what those coaches are doing with their current players,” Alexander said to On3.
“When the ball stops bouncing what are you left with, what are going to be your resources and network you’re able to tap into and move on and progress in a career in life,” Alexander explained. “USC did an excellent job of displaying and putting him in contact with people in places you can obviously see would pay dividends for him as a professional after his football career is over with. That’s one of the things I think for me is at the forefront.”
Stewart also recently visited Oregon. While he is scheduled to visit Ohio State this weekend, the USC Trojans remain a strong contender for his commitment.
The early signing period begins on December 4th, and Stewart is expected to announce his college decision at that time.
