ESPN released its most up-to-date 2025 prospect rankings. The USC Trojans had two players that have committed to the school ranked in the top 10. Quarterback from Carrollton, GA Julian Lewis got top billing as the best-in-class recruit. Defensive Tackle from Manchester, GA Justus Terry, who recently uncommitted from Georgia to play in D’Anton Lynn’s revamped defense was listed as the seventh-best prospect.
Together the Trojans have five commits in the Top 300.

Julian “Juju” Lewis
Lewis committed to the Trojans before the 2023 season started, on August 22. Since then the 6’1″ 185 junior has taken several unofficial visits with the Top SEC schools, including his home state powerhouse, Georgia, as well as Alabama. He also met with the recruiting master, Deion Sanders of Colorado.
In two seasons as the starting quarterback of the, coincidentally enough, Carrollton Trojans, Lewis has thrown 469 completions for 7212 and 96 touchdowns in 28 games. After throwing 12 interceptions in 2022, he got that number down to just two in 2024.
As ESPN puts it, “…there isn’t much more Lewis can do to prove himself, considering the level of production he’s had at such an early stage versus top-tier competition.”
Justus Terry
Lynn and maybe more accurately, defensive line coach Eric Henderson scored a big win when Terry switched his commitment to the USC Trojans. The Trojans have gone to great lengths to turn their defense around. Lynn was able to do just that for the UCLA Bruins last season. Adding Henderson as a coach brought a lot of recruiting prowess, as Henderson not only worked at the professional level but did so with the best defensive lineman in the game, Aaron Donald.
The 6’5″ 275 lbs junior had 78 tackles and 13 sacks in 12 games last season for the Manchester Blue Devils.
