Week 15 Fantasy Predictions: Best Players at Each Position
LAFB folks, most likely, many of you are either in the semifinals of your fantasy league or the first round. Nonetheless, fantasy football will be alive and well for the next couple of weeks. So let’s jump right into the predictions for Week 15.
Top 3 QB’s
Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills
Allen and the Bills will travel to Denver this week for the first Saturday game this year. The Bills have been rolling this season and it is because of the strides Allen has made as a passer. He also poses the threat with his legs so look for a possible rushing score to add insurance to his point total for Week 15.
Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens
Jackson seemed to return to form and finally get back into a rhythm last week in a pivotal divisional game. This week, the Ravens host the (1-12) Jaguars, a team they’ll look to handle with ease to keep their playoff hopes alive. I expect at least 3+ total touchdowns from Jackson in Week 15.
Deshaun Watson – Houston Texans
Watson and the Texans got smothered last week by the Bears. The Texans won’t be in the playoffs this year, but they’ll try to spoil their division foe Indianapolis from getting comfortable in the wild card. This game can be a big statement for Watson and the Texans moving forward.
Top 3 RB’s
Cam Akers – Los Angeles Rams
Akers finally had his first big fantasy performance in Week 14, rushing for 171 yards, the second-highest total of the week. The only thing that snipped him from a top-5 week was not getting in the endzone. The Rams host the dismal Jets and Akers will look to add his first back-to-back 100+ yard performance of his career.
Derrick Henry – Tennessee Titans
Henry plays like he is a man amongst boys. Just feed the man the rock 20+ times and he’ll do the rest. That’s it, that’s the prediction.
Alvin Kamara – New Orleans Saints
Kamara is getting back Drew Brees this week, and I bet he’s all smiles with his diamond grillz. He’s been relatively quiet the past four weeks for his usual fantasy standards. The Saints host the Chiefs this week and the Brees/Kamara connection will look to keep pace with Patrick Mahomes and the Mahomies.
Top 6 WR’s
Emmanuel Sanders – New Orleans Saints
Michael Thomas is out Week 15 and going forward, so queue up the targets Sanders. The veteran is familiar with the Chiefs defense from his time in Denver and in last year’s Super Bowl. I expect Sean Payton to dial it up to Sanders to get the momentum rolling for the Saints.
Antonio Brown – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This is the big week for Brown. I don’t know why I feel that way, but he’s just due for a return to his All-Pro performances. The Bucs will travel to Atlanta this week against a defense that at times looks like swiss cheese. I see the Brown and Brady connection flourishing this Sunday.
Calvin Ridley – Atlanta Falcons
Julio Jones will be out Week 15 and Ridley will be picking up the slack like he always does. Weirdly though, Matt Ryan has seemed to favor Ridley this year more than Jones. Matty Ice and Ridley will look to play spoilers this week while padding their stats.
Brandin Cooks – Houston Texans
With Will Fuller and Randall Cobb both missing the remainder of the season, Cooks will look to be the go-to guy this week. In a tough rematch with the Colts, Cooks will look to add his second 100+ yard performance of the season, with a score to make the fantasy output noteworthy.
Stefon Diggs – Buffalo Bills
Diggs has been one of the best, sure-handed receivers in the league this year. His rapport with Josh Allen is at its best and I expect them to hookup often on Saturday. He’s had at least 10 receptions in three of his last four games and will look to continue that in Week 15.
DeAndre Hopkins – Arizona Cardinals
Last week’s performance for Hopkins was a much-needed bounce back after he posted three straight weeks of 55 yards or less. It’s not bad but not great for his standards. I expect Kyler Murray and Hopkins to connect on 10+ balls this Sunday for at least a score and 100+ yards.
Top 3 TE’s
Travis Kelce – Kansas City Chiefs
The best TE in the league is going to have to put up some of his best numbers this year in order to help the Chiefs past a tough Saints defense. He’s gone over 100+ yards in five of his last six games and I expect that to continue this week.
Eric Ebron – Pittsburgh Steelers
A little bit of a sleeper this week, but I think the Steelers matchup with the Bengals is a plus for Ebron this week. He’s had 27 targets in the last three weeks and I expect Big Ben to look the veteran TE’s way this Sunday in the red zone.
Tyler Higbee – Los Angeles Rams
Higbee is more of a sleeper than Ebron this week. He’s been relatively quiet since his three-touchdown performance in Week 2 but I expect him to be involved a good amount Sunday vs. a Jets team that is aiming for a #1 draft pick.
Top 3 Kickers
Jason Sanders – Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins have a big week hosting the Patriots. I think the offense may falter at times due to a Bill Belichick game plan, one that Sanders will benefit from.
Harrison Butker – Kansas City Chiefs
The Saints have a solid defense and will need to stop the high-powered Chiefs offense in order to win. I think they’ll slow them down and Butker will have to make some clutch kicks to keep the points rolling for the Chiefs.
Greg Zuerlein – Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys host the 49ers this week. While the Andy Dalton ran offense looks like it can decently move the ball, don’t count out Zuerlein from getting his kicks in on Sunday.
Top DEF/ST’s
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams host the Jets and well it looks like a game they should handle rather easily.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are on the road vs. the Bengals this week and their specialty is excelling vs. teams that aren’t the best with subpar QB play.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens host the Jaguars and their defense will look to shut down whatever creativity the Jaguars try to throw at them this late in the year.
To Conclude
This should be a good week of NFL football as there are many games with playoff implications on the line. Whether your fantasy team is out of it or not, I think that these predictions will hold some weight come next week. If you’re a daily fantasy sports player and some of these picks help you win a million dollars, you’re welcome. Until next time folks.
