The Los Angeles Rams are 3.5 home underdogs against the Buffalo Bills, but that line was set before the announcement that the Bills would be without two of their top pass catchers. Both Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid were listed as questionable heading into the game, but now both have been ruled out.
Coleman, a rookie second-rounder, was limited throughout the week’s practice with a wrist injury, while Kincaid was too with a knee injury. Coleman has missed the last three contests due to the same injury. Kincaid has had issues with his knee for several weeks but has missed just the last two games.
Buffalo Bill Will Face Rams Without Coleman and Kincaid
Despite the missing time, the two receivers are the Bills 2nd and 3rd most targeted receivers. Kincaid has caught 34 passes for 356 yards, 18 first downs, and two touchdowns. Coleman has caught 22 passes for 417 yards, 16 first downs, and three touchdowns.
Since the two have been out, a myriad of receivers have stepped up to the plate. Khalil Shakir has moved into the top spot with 60 receptions and 629 yards with 27 first downs. New addition Amari Cooper had one of his best games as a Bill against the Kansas City Chiefs, catching two passes for 55 yards. And the veteran tight end Dawson Knox moved back into the top spot nicely catching for at least 40 yards in each of the last three games.
With a wide variety of pass catchers, the Rams secondary faces a tough challenge, but two fewer top options should benefit the team in this game.
