Maxx Crosby was clearly unhappy with how the season ended. That, plus the need to stockpile picks and reset as much as possible, leads Las Vegas to a blockbuster trade, hoping to fill multiple positions with the resulting haul.

Crosby will fetch multiple picks, with every pick landing in Day 1 or Day 2 of the 2026 and 2027 NFL Drafts.
#2 – Raiders Acquire Malik Willis
The Las Vegas Raiders will need to figure out some insurance for the 2026 season, and the team decides to make an offer that Malik Willis can’t refuse.
After showing some sparks under Matt LaFleur down the stretch of the 2025-26 season, Willis arrives as a solid backup plan and quarterback competition heading into the NFL Draft.
#3 – 2026 NFL Draft Trade Down
Las Vegas passes on Fernando Mendoza and all options with the number one pick, trading down for a haul. The team ultimately drafts a quarterback later in the draft, citing how Denver didn’t need the number one overall pick to get Bo Nix, its quarterback of the future.
The move sets up Las Vegas for a busy Day 2 and Day 3, bringing in a platoon of rookies for John Spytek and Kubiak to pore over in 2026.
#4 – Malik Willis Enters Training Camp With Starting Position
Malik Willis showed some flashes in 2025 and will enter training camp as the team’s QB1. A starting competition will take place, but Willis, armed with the support of John Spytek, who believes in giving quarterbacks time to learn under a mentor, will get a technical head start in July. However, how long he holds onto the starting role will be up to him.
