Raiders Reveal Final Brock Bowers Injury Report Ahead of Chargers game

The Las Vegas Raiders will have one of their top offensive weapons on the field tonight. According to NFL insider Ari Meirov, “#Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) is officially active tonight vs. the #Chargers. He will play.”

That news provides clarity after a weekend of uncertainty. ESPN’s Adam Schefter had previously reported on Monday Night Countdown that head coach Pete Carroll expected Bowers to suit up, though the tight end entered the game listed as questionable. Schefter noted that while Bowers looked strong during Saturday’s practice, there remained some concern until the team released its final injury report.

The second-year tight end did not practice during the week before logging a limited session on Saturday, opening the door for his availability. Whether he will play his usual snap count remains to be seen, but his presence should be a significant boost for the Raiders’ offense.

Bowers has quickly become a cornerstone in Las Vegas after being drafted 13th overall out of Georgia in 2024. He set rookie records with 112 receptions and 1,194 receiving yards while adding five touchdowns last season. In Week 1, he showed no signs of a sophomore slump, hauling in five catches for 103 yards in a 20-13 win over the New England Patriots.

The Raiders enter tonight’s divisional showdown against the Chargers as 3.5-point underdogs, per BetMGM. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET on ESPN as part of the Week 2 Monday Night Football doubleheader, which also features the Buccaneers facing the Texans.

While it remains uncertain if Bowers will be at full strength, the fact that he’s active underscores his importance to Las Vegas. The Raiders will be counting on him to make an impact against their AFC West rivals.
