The Las Vegas Raiders are holding their breath after second-year tight end Brock Bowers left Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots with a knee injury.
The play unfolded early in the fourth quarter at Gillette Stadium, with Las Vegas up by one score. Bowers was first hit along the sideline, then came up limping on a separate in-breaking route with no contact. He went straight to the blue medical tent and was quickly ruled questionable to return by the team.

Bowers briefly returned to the sideline, stretching and attempting to test his leg, before heading back into the tent. CBS replays showed the star tight end limping noticeably two plays after his biggest highlight of the afternoon — a 38-yard catch-and-run where he cut across the Patriots defense from right to left.
Sideline reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala noted that Bowers appeared frustrated as he tried to loosen up his leg with trainers looking on. The team later confirmed the injury was to his knee.
Before exiting, Bowers had already put together a massive performance, catching five passes for 103 yards, serving as a focal point for quarterback Aidan O’Connell and Pete Carroll’s offense.
For a Raiders team aiming to take a leap in 2025, losing Bowers — one of the NFL’s most dynamic young playmakers — would be a devastating blow. For now, his return remains uncertain, and the Raiders will await further evaluation as the game plays out.
