The Los Angeles Rams are deep into their preseason slate, and a handful of players are fighting for their jobs.
These five stand out as true make-or-break cases heading into roster cuts.
Los Angeles Rams Players At Risk
1. Stetson Bennett – QB
He’s the No. 3 behind Stafford and Garoppolo, battling camp arm Dresser Winn for preseason action. Another solid game should keep him safe for another year; the real question should be, what are the Rams’ plans for the aging “young QB”?
Bennett will be 28 in October, older than guys like Herbert, Hurts, and Fields.
2. Ronnie Rivers – RB
Rivers went from reliable depth in 2024 to fighting for snaps behind Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, and rookie Jarquez Hunter. With UDFA Cody Schrader flashing in the opener, Rivers needs to prove he still belongs or risk losing his spot outright.

3. Derion Kendrick – CB
Kendrick’s return from a lost 2024 season has been lukewarm. Younger corners like Charles Woods and Cam Lampkin looked sharper in the opener, putting him in danger. He has two more weeks to show he’s more than just a placeholder.
4. Nick Hampton – OLB
With Jared Verse, Byron Young, and Josaiah Stewart ahead of him, his path is slim. If he doesn’t turn it around quickly, he’ll be on the outside looking in.

5. David Quessenberry – OT
At 35, Quessenberry is the oldest Ram fighting for a job. With Alaric Jackson sidelined, he’s been taking some first-team left tackle reps. Coaches want him to prove he still has gas in the tank. If not, younger backups like Warren McClendon could push him out.
