Davante Adams isn’t going anywhere. At least, that is what the Los Angeles Rams brass has attempted to communicate to Adams and the general public. However, by addressing the possibility, it’s clear that Les Snead is thinking about the possibility of moving on from the 2025 leader in receiving touchdowns at some point.
He has chosen to keep the 33-year-old receiver on the payroll, but a significant offer or a change of circumstances could open the door to moving the receiver once again.

After watching what happened after declining to move Cooper Kupp early, Snead has reason not to be as hesitant this time around. Plus, above all, the right offer could be all the team needs to change its tune.
Here’s a look at some potential trade offers that might get Snead to think twice.
#1 – New England Patriots
The New England Patriots, having moved on from Stefon Diggs, might want to add a veteran receiver of Davante Adams’ caliber early in the year or at the trade deadline. If the team is all-in, such a move would make perfect sense as what would be perceived to be the final piece, not unlike the Rams adding Von Miller before its Super Bowl run in the first year of the Matthew Stafford era.
Rams receive:
- 2027 second-round pick
- Rhamondre Stevenson
Patriots receive:
- Davante Adams
#2 – Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs were knocked down in 2026. Adding Davante Adams could be the team’s way of getting back up. Rashee Rice, who is no stranger to off-the-field issues, could make sense as an addition for Los Angeles in terms of the long-term upside if Sean McVay can get Rice on the same page.
Plus, an additional pick from Los Angeles could sweeten the deal and add some proven but young long-term talent for the team in what would be a net positive.
The Chiefs need a sixth-round pick after trading theirs to the San Francisco 49ers, according to Spotrac, so it adds more reason for Snead to offer specifically a sixth.
Rams receive:
- Rashee Rice
Chiefs receive:
- Davante Adams
- 2027 sixth-round pick
#3 – Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens are in desperate need of a reliable second wide receiver. It’s clear that there’s at least somewhat of an appetite for a big trade in the team’s decision to entertain a blockbuster trade for Maxx Crosby.
Adding Davante Adams to pair with Zay Flowers could be the big offensive swing the team needs. Plus, Snead would receive plenty of ammunition to help kickstart the search for the team’s next big star.
Rams receive:
- 2027 second-round pick
- 2028 sixth-round pick
Ravens receive:
