The Los Angeles Rams enter Sunday’s matchup against the Indianapolis Colts with a mostly healthy roster, including the return of star wide receiver Davante Adams and veteran right tackle Rob Havenstein. Both players had been listed as questionable after missing two days of practice earlier in the week, but neither will be inactive for Week 4. Tight ends Tyler Higbee and Colby Parkinson, also questionable, are active for the contest.
Rams head coach Sean McVay noted that Adams, who only practiced in a limited capacity on Friday, will not be on a snap count. “He looked comfortable at practice and should be as close to a full-go as he can be,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported. Adams has already contributed 13 catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns through three games, stepping into a pivotal role after the offseason loss of Cooper Kupp.

The Colts, meanwhile, will see defensive tackle DeForest Buckner return from a back injury, while cornerback Kenny Moore II, receiver Alec Pierce, and guard Matt Goncalves remain out. Buckner, a two-time All-Pro, has 14 tackles through three games and will be critical against Los Angeles’ high-powered offense, which ranks fifth in total yards per game. Despite injuries and offseason changes, the Rams are averaging 24.3 points per game, marking arguably the strongest start of the Matthew Stafford era.
Matchup Outlook
Oddsmakers have installed the Rams as 3.5-point favorites at home, effectively a pick ’em given the three-point home-team advantage. The Colts, riding a 3-0 start led by a resurgent Daniel Jones, have allowed 20 points in consecutive games and continue to struggle against the run, particularly up the middle.
LA’s offense will look to capitalize on its full-strength wide receiver corps, while Indianapolis will rely on Buckner and a mostly intact defensive front to slow down Stafford and Adams. With kickoff set for 4:05 p.m. ET (1:05 PT), the game is part of a strong Sunday 4 p.m. window that also features Kansas City at Baltimore and Jacksonville at San Francisco.
With both teams firing on cylinders, and Adams cleared to play without major restrictions, Week 4’s late-afternoon matchup promises to be an NFL thriller.
