The Los Angeles Rams continued their early-season momentum on Sunday, asserting control over the Tennessee Titans behind first-career touchdowns from running back Blake Corum and veteran receiver Davante Adams.

Corum, who played a reserve role last season and missed time with a fractured forearm, opened the scoring for himself midway through the fourth quarter. The 1-yard rushing touchdown gave the Rams a 33-16 lead, though Tennessee blocked the extra point. Corum has seen a significant increase in involvement this week, carrying the ball five times for 44 yards after recording only a single carry in last week’s game.
Rams head coach Sean McVay highlighted the evolving role of Corum in the backfield, noting that Sunday’s workload split between Kyren Williams and Corum — 69.5% to 30.5% — was “much more in alignment” with how he wants the Rams’ running back rotation to look, according to Adam Grosbard.
“This is a big moment for Blake,” one source said. “He’s worked hard to get back into a prominent role, and it’s showing on the field.”
Later in the quarter, Adams broke through in the red zone, catching his first touchdown with the Rams on a 16-yard strike from quarterback Matthew Stafford. Adams, who had been targeted three times earlier in the game without success, finally found the end zone, beating his defender 1-on-1 and securing the score with ease. He finished with six catches on 13 targets for 106 yards and the touchdown.

Stafford’s connection with Adams came after a defensive turnover shifted momentum. Outside linebacker Byron Young forced a fumble from rookie quarterback Cam Ward, with linebacker Nate Landman recovering it to set the Rams up in scoring position.
On the other side, Tennessee’s offensive line faced setbacks. Guard Kevin Zeitler left the game with an elbow injury and was listed as questionable to return. However, given the score and timing, it appeared unlikely he would re-enter the contest.
The combination of Corum’s emerging role and Adams’ immediate impact underscores the Rams’ growing offensive versatility. After a cautious start to the season, Los Angeles is showing that its ground and aerial attack can complement one another effectively, providing a balanced threat for opponents.
With contributions from both established stars and emerging talents, the Rams appear poised to carry this momentum into the next stage of the season, asserting themselves as a multifaceted offensive team ready to challenge the league’s best.
