Bowers was evaluated in the sideline medical tent and did not return, but his postgame comments suggested the issue may not be serious.
“My knee feels fine,” Bowers said, via Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com. “They just kept me out for concern. We have an extra day, so we’ll see.”
The second-year standout had already made a major impact before leaving, finishing with five receptions for 103 yards. His availability will be key for Las Vegas heading into a Week 2 Monday night matchup against the Chargers, a clash of unbeaten teams.
