We are just over one week away from the Los Angeles Rams kicking off the 2025 regular season against the Houston Texans. The 53-man roster is set, the practice squad is set, and now the team has announced its captains for the season.
Let’s take a look.
Los Angeles Rams 2025 Captains

QB – Matthew Stafford
Stafford being named captain is obvious; he is the veteran voice and the field general. The Los Angeles Rams QB will go into the 2025 season having been named captain for 5 straight years.
OT – Rob Havenstein
Havenstein is the reliable veteran up front, a stabilizer in both pass sets and run game calls. This will be his fourth straight year as a captain and also holding the title of longest tenured Ram.
RB – Kyren Williams
Williams earns the nod for the first time in his career for what he gives the offense every snap: short-yardage toughness and consistent production between the tackles.

LB – Nate Landman
Landman is a surprise addition to the captain list this season as a free agent signing. The command of the defense he showed in training camp, and the responsibilities as green dot on defense, earn him a captain nod in his first year in LA.
DL – Kobie Turner
Turner brings physicality and energy; he is the play finisher who sets the tone for the defensive front. Kobie is a second-time captain after last year, taking the reins on the defensive line from long-time anchor Aaron Donald.
S – Quentin Lake
Lake is the secondary communicator and special teams glue; he meets the veteran and young players in the middle. This is his second year being a captain, something that he said meant a lot to him last year, as the captains are all peer-elected.
P – Ethan Evans
Evans anchors the field position and does the little things that do not show in box scores. Evans is also a first-time captain on special teams, the last specialist captain being Johnny Hekker in 2021.
