With the Senior Bowl on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, many NFL prospects are set to take the field to raise their stock. Several tight ends have made an impression through practices at the Senior Bowl, yet no has had a better practice than Bowling Green’s Harold Fannin Jr. This must perk the ears of the Los Angeles Rams, who are in need of a Tyler Higbee replacement.
Los Angeles Rams Could Meet Top Draft Need With Harold Fannin Jr.
Fannin is the 70th-ranked prospect according to PFF. The Bowling Green prospect is expected to be drafted on day two in the 3rd Round. The 6’4′ 230-pound tight end is a force to be reckoned with and has proven that he can be one of the best pass catchers of this draft.

Throughout his time in college, Fannin Jr. has 180 receptions, 2396 total yards, and 17 touchdowns. His 2024 season was by far his most impressive showing in college. Playing against perennial powerhouse Penn State, Fannin Jr had an incredible day with 137 yards and a score against one of the best defenses in the FBS. Despite having one of the best seasons by a tight end in NCAA history, Fannin Jr is still ranked as the third-best tight end according to several analysts.
The Rams are in dire need of help at the Tight End position as it is arguably one of the weakest position groups on the team. Fannin Jr would add an entirely new dimension to both the passing and running game. With his stock rising to the roof, the Rams may have to trade up to land the former Falcon and MAC legend.
