The former first-round pick, who was brought back two weeks ago onto the practice squad, was the unfortunate casualty of the trickle-down effect on the roster.

Los Angeles activated both OLB Khalil Mack and LB Denzel Perryman off IR, forcing them to make necessary cuts at both the active roster and practice squad to create space for them.

It won’t be surprising to see Reagor back on the taxi squad in the coming weeks, though, given his familiarity with the offensive system, flexibility as a returner on special teams, as well as offensive coordinator Greg Roman’s affinity for him as a player.

For now though, he’ll have to wait for his next opportunity to showcase his ability on the field.
