The 7 seed Los Angeles Chargers are set to take on the 2 seed New England Patriots at Foxborough tonight at 5:15 PM PT. Here’s a look at the final injury report for the Chargers as they head into the 2025 postseason.

Chargers Final Injury Report

OUT

WR/KR | KeAndre Lambert-Smith (Hamstring)

S | Kendall Williamson (Ankle)

The loss of both Lambert-Smith and Williamson impacts the special teams unit significantly. Lambert-Smith, in particular, was just placed on IR, which knocks him out for most of the post-season unless the Chargers make it to the Super Bowl.

KLS has been an effective kick returner when called upon, while safety Williamson has been a core four special teams player throughout the season, playing on 59% (263) of the special teams snaps for the Chargers.

QUESTIONABLE

RB | Omarion Hampton (Ankle)

TE | Tucker Fisk (Ankle)

OT | Austin Deculus (Oblique)

LB | Del’Shawn Phillips (Hamstring)

OLB | Bud Dupree (Hamstring)

S | Elijah Molden (Hamstring)

The one to monitor here is the status of rookie RB Omarion Hampton (6’0, 220 lb) as he logged two consecutive DNP’s (Did Not Participate) in practice this week. Head coach Jim Harbaugh, however, seemed to indicate that Hampton would be able to suit up, mentioning that he was “progressing”.

The Bolts do get some good news, as they receive reinforcement in the tight end room, with the activation of TE Tucker Fisk (6’4 265 lb) off IR. He’s been sidelined since Week 12 due to an ankle injury. Fisk is by far the best blocker in the position group, and his presence has been sorely missed on offense.

Special teams ace LB Del’Shawn Phillips (6’2 230 lb), who just made the AP’s Second-Team All-Pro, also popped on the injury report with a hamstring injury. Philips had a late surge towards the end of the season and ended up leading the NFL in special teams tackles with 24.

Starting safety Elijah Molden has also remained on the injury report despite resting in last week’s contest against the Denver Broncos. He’s dealing with a hamstring injury that has been nagging him for most of the season, putting his game status in jeopardy.

Practice Squad Elevations

WR | Dalevon Campbell (6’4 220 lb)

CB | Isas Waxter (6’1, 209 lb)

The Chargers have elected to call up both Campbell and Waxter for this contest. Campbell is a downfield threat who possesses speed and the ability to win contested catches, replacing Lambert-Smith’s place in the WR room. Waxter, on the other hand, fills out depth at the cornerback position, after the team placed undrafted standout CB Nikko Reed on IR.

Round-Up

With the activation of TE Tucker Fisk from IR, the Chargers now have only one IR activation left in this postseason. It remains to be seen if the team uses it on Reed or Lambert-Smith if the Chargers can make a deep postseason run.

Ideally, all the players on the injury report are able to suit up and play on Sunday. Hopefully, the Chargers are able to come out of Foxborough with a win, as it’s a win-or-go-home game that determines the outcome of this 2025 Chargers team.
