Dolphins Get Huge Tyreek Hill Injury Timeline Update, Via Agent

The Miami Dolphins finally received a positive development regarding Tyreek Hill’s devastating knee injury. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus said the wideout’s surgery “went very well” and that everything was handled “with one procedure.” The goal, Rosenhaus added, is for Hill to be ready for the start of next season.

Hill went down in Week 4 during Miami’s Monday Night Football win over the New York Jets, twisting awkwardly on a tackle from Malachi Moore. He was carted off and later diagnosed with a dislocated knee and multiple torn ligaments, including the ACL. Initial reports suggested Hill’s recovery could bleed into the 2026 season, but Rosenhaus’ update offers a far more optimistic outlook.

The news should come as a relief for Dolphins fans, who feared the worst after watching their star playmaker leave the field in obvious pain.

Tyreek Hill’s Own Message

Before undergoing surgery, Hill posted a video to X to thank fans for their support:
“Alright guys, Tyreek Hill here, the Cheetah. About to go in for this surgery. Keep your boy in your prayers… I love you guys so much and hope to see you soon. Cheetah.”

His upbeat tone paired with Rosenhaus’ statement reinforces that the Dolphins’ superstar is on the right track.

Dolphins’ Path Forward

While Hill is still out for the season, Dolphins must find ways to fill the massive void. Jaylen Waddle will step in as the top target, while running back De’Von Achane, Malik Washington, and veteran Darren Waller will be leaned on to help shoulder the offensive load.

For now, though, the biggest victory is that Hill’s road to recovery is clear—and his return by next season is firmly in play.
