A large swarm of elite prospects were on hand at the Coliseum on Saturday to witness the USC Trojans whoop up on the Michigan Wolverines.
After the game, they added the commitment of the Top JUCO CB in the country, Jakwon Morris. But they may not be done just yet.
On Monday morning, Steve Wiltfong of Rivals put in an expert prediction for the Trojans to flip Santa Margarita cornerback Jayden Crowder away from CAL.
However, on Monday evening, the commitment of Jakwon Morris was announced, so it was unknown if the Trojans and Crowder were still interested in each other.

This morning (Wednesday), Crowder officially decommitted from CAL. There seems to be some real momentum that his decision is due to a verbal he gave to the USC Trojans.

Crowder spoke with Rivals about his visit to the Coliseum on Saturday: “The atmosphere was great. It was a packed-out stadium. Everybody was really nice. They’re doing what they’re supposed to do with the fans. Them rolling over Michigan, that was a big win because they showed out, the offense showed out, and the defense showed out.”
I will be back on campus on Wednesday, and we will see if an announcement is made later in the week.
Jayden Crowder Would Join A Loaded USC Trojans 2026 Class
The Trojans’ 2026 Class is already loaded with 33 commitments. Crowder would make 34 if he does indeed choose Southern Cal, but he would also be the 7th defensive back in the class, joining:

Crowder is currently the 86th-ranked CB in the 2026 class, according to Rivals Industry Rankings. However, don’t let the ranking fool you.

Crowder plays for a surging Santa Margarita team that is currently ranked 10th in the country and has one of the best defenses in the state. They just beat the mighty Mater Dei Monarchs, holding them to just 6 points.
Crowder finished the game with 4 tackles and was instrumental in holding the Monarchs to just 99 passing yards.
