USC Trojans Elite Commit Moves Up In Latest Updated Recruiting Rankings

Just a few days after Rivals released their updated rankings and their Rivals300, 247 Sports released their latest rankings heading into fall camp.

USC Trojans 2026 quarterback commit Jonas Williams saw a slight fall in the Rivals rankings; I documented that here.

In the newest 247 rankings, however, Williams moved up after strong performances during the Summer circuit.

USC Trojans Commit Jonas Williams Moves Up In Top247 Rankings

After performing well at the Elite 11 finals, Williams moved up 18 total spots to the No. 180 overall player in the class.

247 now ranks him as the 12th-ranked quarterback, which is the same as Rivals’ most recent ranking. He is still ranked 3rd by ESPN.

According to 247 Composite, Williams is the 9th-ranked quarterback and the 97th-ranked overall player in the class.

Williams had a fantastic junior season where he compiled 2,926 passing yards and 42 touchdowns, with just six interceptions. On the ground, he added 395 rushing yards and seven additional touchdowns.

Regardless of where these rankings sites ultimately put Williams, he is the perfect fit for Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans. His arm talent and athleticism will gel with the scheme and allow Riley to do things on offense that will open things up for the running game and the deep shot.

Williams was originally committed to Oregon, but flipped his commitment to USC back in February after a surprise visit to Junior Day.

The 4-star is currently one of the headliners of the USC Trojans’ No. 1 2026 recruiting class.
