Many said that they would not be able to hold on all the way to signing day, but the USC Trojans just officially closed out the No. 1 2026 Recruiting Class on National Signing Day.

It is the first time in 18 years that a non-SEC school has the No. 1 class, and the first time since 2006 that USC has held the top class.

Outside of a long delay in the official announcement of 5-star tight end Mark Bowman, the day was very drama-free as all 34 commits going into the day signed their letters of intent, and the Trojans also officially flipped 4-star wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt from Ohio State.
