Elite Offensive Lineman Puts USC Trojans In Final 6

The USC Trojans continue their quest to build out their 2026 recruiting class. As it stands, they have the 2nd-ranked class with eight total commitments.

However, of those eight commitments, they have yet to gain one on the offensive line. That could potentially change soon.

Elite 4-star offensive lineman Malakai Lee just announced his Top 6 schools and the USC Trojans have made the cut.

His Top 6 include:

  • USC
  • BYU
  • Michigan
  • Texas
  • Alabama
  • Georgia

Malakai Lee Puts USC Trojans In Top 6

This would be a huge commitment for the Trojans, and the first for Zach Hanson as the offensive line coach.

The 6’7, 310-pound tackle from Hawaii is the 10th-ranked OT in the entire nation, per On3 rankings. On3 currently has Michigan with the edge in their prediction sitting at a 40.4% confidence level. The Trojans are 2nd at an 18.5% confidence level.

Lee’s industry rating of 91.83 is real close to 5-star territory, and he would be an anchor for the USC 2026 class.

Lee spoke with On3 about his decision to narrow his list down to 6 schools. In including USC he said:

“I’ve built a great relationship with Coach Dogg (Aaron Amaama) and Coach Nua and after my game day visit I really loved the atmosphere there.”

Lee also mentioned that it is important for him to “compete and contribute early.” It will be worth watching his recruitment as the Trojans continue to make a push.
