We are officially in “visit season” and the USC Trojans have begun locking in impressive recruits for official visits.
One of the most sought-after recruits in the 2026 class is 5-star ATH Brandon Arrington from La Mesa, California in San Diego County.
His recruitment has been picking up a little steam with the Trojans and now he has an OV scheduled for June 17, one week after he visits Texas A&M.
Brandon Arrington Schedules Official Visit With USC Trojans
The team to beat early on for Arrington seemed to be Texas A&M. They have been the leaders in his recruitment since the beginning, and still hold an 87.4% confidence prediction rating, per On3.
However, the momentum began to shift a little bit once 2025 QB Husan Longstreet flipped from Texas A&M to USC. He immediately began to recruit Arrington to join him at USC. In an interview with SI back in November, Longstreet spoke about his relationship with Arrington.
“Brandon Arrington is one of the big ones,” Longstreet said. “I actually started to get close with him. I’ve seen him a lot and did not expect to see him at the USC game, but I seen him there, so we’re just kind of chilling. And then once I committed, he had text me the eyes emoji, like he’s gonna do it next. So we’ll see about that. I think that’s a close one that would be we should get to.”
2026 commit Brandon Lockhart is another player who has been vocal about teaming up with local talent and holding it down at USC.
Will Arrington be the next Cali kid to follow?
He did take a visit recently to Alabama, and afterward, On3’s Chad Simmons stated that he believed the Crimson Tide were the new leaders in the clubhouse to earn a commitment from the star player.
“After this visit, we feel the Crimson Tide is setting the pace in this race as we head into spring visits followed by official visits and a decision later this summer,” wrote Simmons a few weeks ago.

As it is currently scheduled, USC will have the final official visit (more are reported to be coming), so they may have the opportunity to make the final impression.
Throughout his high school career, Arrington has been a very talented two-way player. On offense last season he recorded 31 receptions for 529 yards and five touchdowns. On defense, he totaled 26 tackles, three passes defended, and one interception. He also averaged 38 yards per kick return.
Doug Belk has been the primary recruiter early in the process signalling that the Trojans view him as a defensive back at the next level.
Arrington is the number one ranked ATH in the nation, and the 8th-ranked overall player, per On3.
