Two Massive 4-Star Offensive Linemen Put USC Trojans In Top 8

The USC Trojans 2026 Class is off to a hot start and shows no sign of slowing down. Currently ranked 1st according to 247 Sports and Rivals, and 2nd on On3, this class has a chance to be special.

There is still plenty of time, obviously, but as it currently stands, they do not hold any commitments from offensive linemen. That could change very soon.

Two elite 4-star offensive linemen just put the USC Trojans in their Top 8 and regard USC in high favor.

USC Trojans Pushing For Elite Offensive Lineman

Both offensive tackle Deacon Schmitt and interior offensive lineman Tommy Tofi have included the USC Trojans in their top lists.

Schmitt is a 4-star offensive tackle out of Windsor, Colorado. He is the 24th-ranked tackle in the 2026 class, according to On3 industry rankings, and the 2nd-ranked prospect in the entire state of Colorado.

Standing at 6’5, 310-pounds, he has great body size that can probably add more weight at the next level if needed. He has good size for a tackle but would have the ability to slide inside to guard or center as well, as we have seen the Trojans do with players often, most recently Jonah Monheim.

Schmitt is currently trending toward Nebraska, with Oklahoma and Tennessee in hot pursuit. He has not visited USC yet, nor does he have a visit scheduled, but having the Trojans in his Top 8, that will be next on the list, and we will provide an update once it is scheduled.

Tofi is a 4-star interior offensive lineman from Sacramento, California. He is an absolute mountain, standing at 6’7 and weighing 350 pounds. He is the 12th-ranked iOL, according to On3 industry rankings, and is the 166th overall ranked player in the 2026 class.

Tofi is strongly trending towards Oregon, but the Trojans are listed as 2nd in the predictions. He visited campus twice last year for unofficial visits and will look to get an official visit scheduled in the coming months.

Landing these two offensive linemen would be huge for OL Coach Zach Hanson and the 2026 class.
