National Signing Day may not have the same excitement as the early signing period in December, but the USC Trojans were still able to make their roster better and signed one of the most underrated players in the entire 2025 class.
After announcing on social media on February 4th that he would be committing to USC, EDGE Jadyn Ramos officially signed with the Trojans yesterday.
Underrated EDGE Jadyn Ramos Signs With USC Trojans
Being that Ramos is a 3-star recruit and signing this late in the process, he flew under the radar among most fans and media, but his production should get Trojan Nation excited.
On3 has Ramos rated as the 126th EDGE prospect in the nation, but his numbers might say otherwise. During his senior season, Ramos recorded 73 tackles, including a whopping 36.5 for loss, and 18 sacks (which led the Greater Houston Area), 4 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery.
While Jahkeem Stewart is the prize of the 2025 class, and rightfully so, the pairing of Ramos and 3-star Texas recruit Gus Cardova could end up being the steals of the entire recruiting cycle.

Both are 6’5 and weigh roughly between 240-250 pounds. While Ramos finished with his 18 sacks, Cardova finished with an impressive 12.5.
5-star recruits are a must if you want to be a program competing for national championships every year, but being able to develop lower stars that flew under the radar adds an element that can put your program over the EDGE (pun intended).
Put the tape on for Jadyn Ramos and you will see that the USC Trojans got one heck of a player.
