We are just hours away from the USC Trojans kicking off their 2025 season against the Missouri State Bears.
There is a ton of hype surrounding this team as we enter the 4th season of the Lincoln Riley era. After a disappointing 2024 campaign, the program demonstrated competitive strides, coupled with an offseason that was one of the best in recent memory.
Now we get to see it all on the field.
But before we do, the USC Trojans’ creative team just released their hype video for the season: War Time. Take a look.
How Does This Year’s USC Trojans Hype Video Compare To Last Year’s?
The creative team did it again. While historically, Trojans never fought in the Roman Coliseum (vastly different time periods), the video takes a fun liberty in turning the LA Coliseum into a battleground. One that you can imagine the Roman Coliseum was like.
As the players prepare for battle (or WAR), you can feel the tension rise. The players featured are:
- Devan Thompkins
- Makai Lemon
- Jayden Maiava
- Ja’Kobi Lane
- Desman Stephens
- Elijah Paige
- Kam Fountain
- Jahkeem Stewart
- Alani Noa
- Kamari Ramsey
- Braylan Shelby
- Jide Abasiri
- Eric Gentry
Now, while this video is sick in its own right and certainly qualifies as a well-done hype video, it is really hard to top last year’s Emmy-winning Arrival of the Trojan.
USC Trojans football team might have the toughest hype video of all time 🤯🔥

Similar to sequels of movies that are classics, it’s nearly impossible to beat the original. But that doesn’t mean that it isn’t good.
