After a brutal home loss at the hands of New Mexico, the UCLA Football program hit an all-time low. Sitting at 0-3, the UCLA Bruins are at a real crossroads, and some big decisions need to be made.
There has been a ton of conversation centered around sweeping changes coming within the program, but the question is whether or when that will happen.
Nothing has been officially announced yet, but there seems to be a massive amount of rumors swirling that a change has been made. The question now is if this change is with DeShaun Foster, with his staff, or with the AD Martin Jarmond.
Rumors Of UCLA Football Firings Swirling
Just about everyone who covers the UCLA Football program and UCLA Bruins athletics has put out some form of cryptic message that alludes to the firing of someone high up in the program taking place.

At this point, it seems like everybody with any connections to #UCLA has been told by multiple sources that DeShaun Foster is out in Westwood.

I'm hearing the same things everybody else is.
We will see if it's true… pic.twitter.com/ggLFop9l85
I can't get anything confirmed regarding UCLA football and the athletic department right now. What I have ranges from good news at worst (if true) to very good news (if true)

I'd rate the potential good news as likely and the very good news as "too good to be true" but still…

At this point, nothing has been confirmed, and it is all just rumors. But it certainly feels like a move will be made.
The UCLA Bruins are on a bye this week, which is usually the time to make some kind of move if there is ever a thought to do so in-season.

Unfortunately, this season is pretty much a lost cause, regardless of what happens with Foster. At this point, you either need to gut everything and know that you are going to be starting from scratch, or do something to try and save face with the 2026 recruiting class.
If the Bruins do decide to rip off the band-aid and move on during the season, they can begin their search for the next person to lead their program. We wrote just a week ago about some of the top candidates that the UCLA Bruins can pursue. You can read that HERE.
The other question will be if AD Martin Jarmond will be the one making that hire, or will he be out as well?
LAFB is working to confirm some of these rumors and will report on them as we receive information.
