Luka Doncic Pushes His Lakers Debut Back 2 More Days
Lakers head coach J.J. Redick offered a glimmer of hope on Wednesday, suggesting that Dončić could potentially return as early as Saturday’s matchup against the Indiana Pacers, as reported by The Athletic’s Jovan Buha. However, the team will undoubtedly prioritize a cautious approach, ensuring Dončić is fully recovered before returning to action.
Now The Stein Line has learned that Dončić is targeting Monday against the Utah Jazz for his Lakers debut.
He returned to 5-on-5 play in practice this week and is said to be progressing well in his ramp-up from his left calf strain on Christmas.
