The Los Angeles Dodgers are coming off their sixth straight win after beating the Atlanta Braves last night 2-1. They are now 22-10 and sitting in first place in the NL West.
Fans can rejoice with more good news as it was just announced that their prized offseason acquisition, Hyeseong Kim, is being called up from the minors.
Dodgers Daily broke the news last night, and Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic confirmed it this morning.

Los Angeles Dodgers Call Up Hyeseong Kim

When the Dodgers signed Kim, the plan was for him to be the everyday second baseman. Unfortunately, he struggled hitting in spring training, so the decision was made for him to begin his MLB career in OKC so that he could get more reps and catch up to the speed of pitching.
In 115 at-bats, Kim is batting .252, with a .328 OBP, and a .798 OPS. He has 5 home runs, 19 RBIs, and 10 walks.

Tommy Edman has been nursing an ankle injury, and it is unclear if he will play tonight. If he does go, the lineup card will most likely feature Kim at 2nd and Edman back in center field, where Dave Roberts planned to play him at the beginning of the season.
If Tommy Tanks still can’t go, it will be Andy Pages at center. After struggling mightily to start the season, Pages has actually been one of the hottest hitters on the team. So, taking him out of the lineup may not be in Roberts’ best interest.
After batting a poultry .158 in March, Pages posted a .325 average in April, with 6 home runs and 14 RBIs.
Regardless, the Dodgers are getting healthier and more complete, at least in terms of the fielders (pitching is a whole other story), which is a scary proposition for the rest of the league.
