Los Angeles Dodgers Acquire RHP Will Klein

The main move was acquiring right-handed pitcher Will Klein from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for minor league pitcher Joe Jacques.
Klein has spent the entirety of the 2025 season in the minors, but he did appear in 8 major league games last year. His stats, however, are not very inspiring.

In 7.1 innings of work in 2024, he gave up 12 hits and had an ERA of 11.05. So far this year in the minors, he has a 7.17 ERA in 21.1 innings.
The Dodgers hope that they can get more consistency out of him, but at this point, they just need potential arms while most of the staff lick their wounds.
The Dodgers also recalled Ryan Loutos and optioned Noah Davis. In order to make room for Klein, they designated RHP Chris Stratton for assignment.
First pitch tonight against the Mets is scheduled for 7:10 PM PT and will air on MLB Network.
