The Los Angeles Dodgers kick off a divisional series against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday night at Chase Field, but they’ll do so without two key bats in the lineup.
Both Tommy Edman and Teoscar Hernández remain sidelined on the injured list. Edman, who was eligible to return during this series, is now expected to be out until sometime next week. Hernández, meanwhile, is still several weeks away from making his return.
In their absence, the Dodgers will roll out a slightly reshuffled lineup against Arizona right-hander Brandon Pfaadt. Hyeseong Kim gets the nod at second base, while James Outman will patrol center field.
