After eliminating the Brewers in the NLCS, the Dodgers could soon call Milwaukee again — this time to negotiate for their ace. FanSided’s Christopher Kline reported that the Dodgers are viewed as “top contenders” for Peralta, describing the move as a perfect match between ambition and opportunity.
“The Dodgers have MLB’s No. 1 farm system, endless spending power and an insatiable desire to dominate MLB,” Kline wrote. “You can bet your bottom dollar they call about Peralta.”
Los Angeles’ rotation is already strong, led by Roki Sasaki, Tyler Glasnow, and Blake Snell, but injuries and workload management have underscored the need for another durable, top-tier starter. Peralta, 29, fits that profile perfectly — posting a 2.70 ERA and 204 strikeouts in 176.2 innings this season.
Peralta’s Value and Milwaukee’s Motives
