A 1-4 start had many believing the Los Angeles Rams’ season was doomed, but Sean McVay and company rallied just enough to finish with a 10-7 record. Their success didn’t end there, with the Rams dominating a 14-win Minnesota Vikings team 27-9 in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs.
Yet, the Rams’ luck ran out when they faced the eventual NFC representative in Super Bowl 59 as the Philadelphia Eagles eliminated the Rams with a 28-22 defeat in the Divisional Round.
Now, general manager Les Snead has to upgrade the roster, and he could start on the offensive line.

Cam Robinson named as fit for Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams do a good job of keeping Matthew Stafford upright, thanks to an approach that gets the ball out quickly. This helped the Rams allow the 10th-fewest sacks in the NFL last season.
Yet, Stafford turns 37 next week, and the Rams could place an even higher emphasis on protecting their aging veteran, knowing that their season rides on the health of their starting quarterback.
One potential solution could be to sign former Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings left tackle Cam Robinson. The Jaguars traded him to the Vikings last season after Minnesota’s blindside protector Christian Darrisaw went down with a season-ending injury. Robinson, 29, was traded, along with a conditional 2026 seventh-round pick for a conditional 2026 fourth or fifth-round pick to the Vikings, and he ended up starting all 17 games.
Now, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler suggests Robinson could become a free agency target for the Rams this offseason.
“Robinson quite possibly played his way above the $20-million-per-year threshold, with the recent precedent of Garett Bolles’ four-year, $82 million deal in Denver as a comp. The Rams and Chiefs are among teams that could be looking for left tackle help.”

Pro Football Focus graded Robinson as the 54th-best tackle last season. He earned particularly high marks as a pass blocker, ranking 49th compared to 75th as a run-blocker.
Meanwhile, Fowler’s contract projections could be a bit higher than others expect. While the market will set his true value, Spotrac projects Robinson to be worth an estimated $14 million per season. Either way, he could be an upgrade in Los Angeles.
