The Los Angeles Rams have made a lot of roster changes since their 26-20 overtime loss to the Detroit Lions. Most of these additions came to the offensive side of the ball. Considering the Rams could be without all five starting offensive linemen, it only makes sense that they’d sign three new players for the trenches.
After signing Ty Nsekhe, Dylan McMahon, and Geron Christian, Rams general manager Les Snead was back at it again on Wednesday. Only this time, the newest Rams addition will join the defense instead.

Les Snead knows how quickly plans can change. In an ideal world, the initial 53-man roster would have worked wonders for the Los Angeles Rams. No one expected so many injuries to strike LA’s offensive line so early, but that’s life in the NFL.
Luckily, this isn’t Snead’s first rodeo. He’s always ready to turn to his backup plan. We already saw what the Rams did to patch up the offense. Now it’s time to turn attention to the defense too.
This time around, that means signing a familiar face. According to Jake Ellenbogen, the Rams have signed cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon to the practice squad.
