After locking down Teoscar Hernández last week, the Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly made another free-agent acquisition.
According to a translated post from KBO Trade Rumors, Korean Infielder Hyeseong Kim is rumored to have signed a deal with the Dodgers worth $22 million.
Hyeseong Kim To Sign With Los Angeles Dodgers
Per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic, this is now confirmed. Looks like the Dodgers got it done just before the deadline.
This would be another massive signing for the Dodgers, and the deadline for Kim to sign is today. In the KBO last season, Kim hit 326/.383/.458 with 11 home runs (career high) and 75 RBIs. He also had 30 stolen bases.
- Hyeseong Kim KBO Career Stats: .304 BA, 37 HRs, 386 RBIs
Kim played 2nd base and shortstop so if this is true, you have to wonder if Mookie Betts would change positions again, or if he would stay at Short, and Kim would play 2nd.

This would most likely mean that Tommy Edman, who has played about every position in his career, would move back to outfield. Ironically, Edman represents the South Korean National team.
The Dodgers have also mentioned the desire for Gavin Lux to play 2nd base, so Kim could potentially be used as a utility player throughout the middle of the field.
This is a developing story, and we will update this post as more news becomes available.
