Before the Los Angeles Dodgers can embark on their journey to become the first team to win back-to-back World Series titles since the 1998-2000 New York Yankees, they must address key needs. Of course, when you can win 98 games, there aren’t a lot of Dodgers roster changes that must be made. Yet, in the ever-competitive MLB landscape, if the Dodgers don’t take a step forward, they’re likely falling behind the rest of the pack.
Yet, this is the Dodgers we’re talking about. If there’s a player available who the front office can make a significant impact in the winning column, expect Los Angeles to chase after them. Now we have another player tossed into the mix, thanks to a new Dodgers rumor.

Los Angeles Dodgers trade targets could include Nolan Arenado
One area the Los Angeles Dodgers could address this offseason is at third base. While Max Muncy still presents a power threat, he was the team’s position player when asked to play defense. With a team-worst .964 fielding percentage, it only makes sense to consider alternative options.
Yet, according to MLB.com’s William Fleitch, the Dodgers could potentially chase after a Nolan Arenado trade this offseason.

If the Dodgers did land Arenado, they’d improve their chances of making a significant upgrade in the field without losing offensive production. Yet, as you can imagine, the Dodgers likely wouldn’t be the only team hoping to land the ten-time Gold Glover this offseason.
