Harbaugh has been in rumors about returning to the NFL for the last three years but it was the Chargers that were able to finally lure the 60-year-old back to the top football league in the land. That success has been lauded by LA fans and NFL media, and it seems people in high places in the league also see the hiring as a huge victory for the organization.

On Wednesday, The Athletic polled over half a dozen notable NFL executives and coaches to get their thoughts on who they feel were the top three head coach hires this offseason, and Harbaugh’s landing was the overwhelming top choice.
