The USC Trojans invited more than 20 prospects to their game against Utah State. The immediate returns following the dominant 48-0 performance have already paid dividends. The school has earned a commitment from the nation’s number one linebacker Ty Jackson and has also moved USC into the finalists for 11th-ranked 2026 edge rusher Simote Katoanga.

Another high-ranking recruit was impressed by the recent recruiting trip. Four-star wide receiver Jerome Myles’s On3 recruiting prediction gives USC a 55.7 percent chance to earn his commitment. Previously to this weekend, the Utah Utes were leading the way. They are now given a 39.4 percent chance to land Myles.

USC’s Executive Director of Recruiting Annie Hanson, singled out the wide receivers coach, Dennis Simmons in a recent post on X.com

The four-star wide receiver from Draper, Utah, is set to make his college decision on October 30. After de-committing from Ole Miss due to concerns about the program’s transfer portal activity and behavioral changes he perceived among the coaching staff, Myles has narrowed his options to Utah, USC, Ohio State, and Georgia.

Myles has made it clear how important proximity is to his final decision. He wants to be close enough that his family can watch him play.

In two games so far this season, Myles has 9 receptions for 246 yards and four touchdowns, per Max Preps. In 2023, he caught 19 passes for 486 yards and six touchdowns in five games last season.

The On3 Industry ranks Myles as the nation’s No. 8 receiver and No. 42 prospect overall. The USC Trojans have 19 2025 commits and rank as the No. 16 recruiting class.
