USC Trojans Injury Update – LB Mason Cobb Set To Play
The USC Trojans will get a major boost to their defense on Saturday night against Arizona State in Tempe. Starting linebacker Mason Cobb is set to play, barring any last-minute setbacks, per head coach Lincoln Riley during his media availability on Thursday.
Cobb missed the previous two games, but with the help of the bye week, he will be good to go this evening. Cobb was one of the most integral transfers for the Trojans this past offseason and has already proven himself as a vocal leader on the USC defense.
His tackling ability and tenacity will give the Trojans defense an added layer to an already impressive start to the season. If SC wants to make a run for a College Football Playoff, Mason Cobb will be a necessary piece in order for that to happen.
