Three-star offensive lineman Elijah Vaikona announced Thursday that he had narrowed his search to three schools including USC Football. He also set a date by which he will make his final choice, July 2nd.

The 6’8″, 370 lbs Rancho Santa Margarita, CA native received 14 scholarship offers from schools across the country including Arkansas, Utah, Arizona State, USF, and SMU. In addition to the Trojans, Washington, and crosstown rivals, UCLA remains in the mix.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine gives USC the edge among these schools, with a 54.1 percent chance of earning Vaikona’s commitment, despite not having offered him a scholarship until early this month. He visited both Washington and SC over the last two weeks. On3 RPM gives Washington a 35.8 percent chance.

If he chooses SC, he will join Willi Wascher as the second offensive lineman to commit from the 2025 class.

VAikona has been busy this summer attending camps to hone his craft, and traveling to Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas to network and polish his skills.
