It’s a great day to be alive and to be a Bruin! UCLA Football has elevated Jerry Neuheisel to the role of Assistant Head Coach while retaining his responsibilities as Tight Ends Coach.
A former Bruins quarterback, Neuheisel has spent seven years on the coaching staff, contributing significantly to the team’s success.
In his first year coaching tight ends, he made an immediate impact, mentoring senior Moliki Matavao to a standout season with 41 receptions and 506 receiving yards. Matavao’s performance not only led the team but also likely earned him a spot on an NFL roster come April.
