The Las Vegas Raiders continue to build out their front office under new General Manager John Spytek, and their latest hire brings nearly two decades of scouting expertise. As first reported by ESPN’s Ryan McFadden, the Raiders are hiring Brandon Hunt as Vice President of Player Personnel, adding a respected and seasoned talent evaluator to their executive ranks.
According to Jeremy Fowler, Hunt “has had multiple GM interviews over the years, won a Super Bowl with Philly and now heads to Vegas.”
Hunt joins Las Vegas after spending the past three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he rose from Director of Scouting to Senior Director of Scouting in 2024. Before his tenure in Philadelphia, Hunt spent 12 years with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2010–2021) as Pro Scouting Coordinator, a role in which he evaluated pro talent and scouted weekly opponents. His NFL journey began even earlier with the Houston Texans (2007–2009) as a Pro Scout and with the Steelers as a scouting intern in 2005–06—a stretch that included Pittsburgh’s Super Bowl XL win.
Las Vegas Raiders Hire Brandon Hunt as VP of Player Personnel in Continued Front Office Reshaping

A well-regarded figure in league circles, Hunt’s development includes stints in prestigious programs like the NFL League of Leaders at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business (2023) and the NFL Career Development Symposium (2014, 2018).
A native of Los Angeles raised in Pittsburgh, Hunt was a four-year starter and team captain on the offensive line at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned All-Region and All-PSAC honors. He holds both a bachelor’s in management information systems and an MBA from IUP.
This latest move continues a pattern of strategic front office hires by the Raiders. Since the draft, Las Vegas has added Brian Stark as Assistant GM, Johnathon Stigall as Assistant Director of College Scouting, and Anthony Patch as Senior Personnel Executive.
Hunt and his wife, Shawnika, have two sons, Chayton and Brayden.
With this addition, the Raiders reinforce a growing emphasis on seasoned, detail-driven talent evaluation in the Spytek era.
