3 Las Vegas Raiders UDFA Locks To Make The Roster

The Las Vegas Raiders completed the 2025 NFL Draft with 11 total selections, headlined by running back Ashton Jeanty and wide receiver Jack Bech.

It was an overall solid draft for the Silver and Black as they filled needs throughout the roster and added a lot of talent and star power. They also added an opportunistic undrafted free agent class.

Every year, a handful of UDFAs make their respective rosters and have an immediate impact. Who will be that player for the Raiders this season? Here are three.

3 UDFA Locks For The Las Vegas Raiders

Jah Joyner, DE, Minnesota

While the Minnesota Golden Gophers may not be the most well-known program in the Big Ten, PJ Fleck does a tremendous job of developing players and preparing them for the NFL. Jah Joyner is one such prospect, and I am shocked that he went undrafted.

He was part of a defense that finished 5th in all of college football in total team defense. The 6’5, 265-pound EDGE finished the season with 32 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.

Dane Brugler of The Athletic ranked him 26th among all EDGE rushers and projected him to be a 5th-round pick. Getting him as an undrafted free agent is an absolute steal.

He has all the physical traits and tools, but one reason for his draft slide is due in part to a lack of production and playing time. He appeared in at least 12 games in each of the last 3 seasons, but was only a starter last year.

He will need to improve his pass rush moves and predictability at the point of attack, but he has the athleticism and talent to be a nice rotational piece alongside Maxx Crosby.

Pat Conroy, FB, Old Dominion

Pat Conroy played tight end in college, but lined up enough at the fullback position to make that his future in the NFL. You don’t sign a fullback unless you have the intention of keeping and using one.

At Old Dominion last season, the 6’2, 235-pound Conroy finished with 37 receptions, 523 yards, and 5 touchdowns.

Head Coach Pete Carroll and offensive coordinator Chip Kelly love to run the football. During the Seahawks’ glory days with Marshawn Lynch, Carroll consistently employed a fullback as the lead blocker to help open holes and dominate the run game. Heading into the 2018 season, the Seahawks had 4 fullbacks on the roster going into training camp.

Who wouldn’t love watching Ashton Jeanty following the Pat “Convoy” into the end zone? Feels like a lock to make the roster.

Greedy Vance, CB, USC

The Raiders signed 4 cornerbacks in this UDFA class. While it doesn’t make it a guarantee, signing that many at a single position certainly signifies that the team wants to see competition and camp battles.

With his size and college pedigree, Greedy Vance will likely be used as a nickel corner. The Raiders do not have a locked-in starter at the nickel spot, but they did re-sign Darnay Holmes, who played sparingly last year.

Vance played two years at Louisville, two years at Florida State, and then finished his college career with the USC Trojans last year. He finished last season with 29 total tackles, 2 passes defended, and 1 game-sealing interception in the end zone against Nebraska.

He finished the last 3 seasons with an overall grade of at least 74, according to PFF. He plays with a physicality and can play press, man, and zone, which gives him the versatility that would suit the Raiders well.
