The Los Angeles Rams could be without their long-time starting tight end, Tyler Higbee, for the remainder of the teams game against the Cleveland Browns. Higbee was hit nearly the Browns sideline attempting to make a catch. Later, it was reported that Higbee was being evaluated for a concussion.
Unlike other injuries, the decision for player clearance comes from an outside evaluator. Higbee was seen on the sideline with his helmet, meaning he isn’t in official concussion protocol, but other injuries are being monitored.
Higbee had two receptions for 35 yards in the game.
The Rams were already short a tight end with Brycen Hopkins listed as inactive heading into the game. With Higbee out, the team is down to Hunter Long and rookie Davis Allen. Combined they have played 55 snaps on offense. Long took the majority of Higbee’s snaps in the ensuing drive.
